Davis Katsonga
Davis Katsonga, former leader of Chipani Cha Pfuko, I would realise that the reason given to degistered my party—that there are many political parties in the country—was laughable and far from convincing.
If I were Katsonga, I would appreciate that I am taking Malawians for granted by thinking that they will appreciate my excuse because the question I need to answer is at what point did I realise that there are too many political parties?
I would further ask myself at what point did I realise that my party’s political manifesto is similar to that of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
If I were Katsonga, I would also realise that if the manifestos were similar, I should have pulled out before the elections, as each party articulated their policies during the presidential debates.
I would appreciate, if I were Davis, that one thing that is coming out clearly here is that my deregistration of the party was just a way of ‘kudzigulila malo’ with the current regime.
Oh yes Davis, I would appreciate the harsh reality that the reasons I gave did not make sense at all!
That is if I were one Davis Katsonga, fortunately I am not that dude!
